Peak Pitch is an event where world-class investors and top founders meet and connect – on skis!
This one-of-a-kind setting offers a fun and dynamic opportunity to network and took place this week in the ski resort of Hunter Mountain, NY. The event featured over 120 top-tier investors and entrepreneurs of high growth tech startups. It attracts some of the best startups in the country. MyPostcard was one of the selected ones to attend and stood out among the others, winning “Best Pitch” at the end of the day!
Friday morning was when the magic happened as investors paired up with startup founders to share a 6-minute chairlift ride up Hunter Mountain. That’s also when the biggest challenge for the entrepreneurs took place: explaining their business in a simple and quick way, that grabs the investor’s attention immediately and convinces them within the short amount of time. The pitch is a one-time opportunity because after the chairlift ride they hit the slopes and then do it all over again – in different pairs. MyPostcard Founder & CEO Oliver Kray gladly accepted the challenge and won “Best Pitch Award” after joining the competition and spending the day on skis!
