MyPostcard at ITB Berlin 2018
The whole world on 16.000 m²? How is that possible? 😉 It’s actually fairly easy – at ITB Berlin!
ITB is the world’s leading travel trade show worldwide and naturally, MyPostcard couldn’t miss out on that! In between thousands of stands from over 18 countries the pink MyPostcard stand was waiting with many goodies for its visitors – free gift cards and postcards, meeting the MyPostcard team or taking a picture in our photo booth and sending it as a real postcard worldwide!
If you always wanted to visit the Hollywood hills, the MyPostcard stand was the place to be. There were some pretty good poses to be seen in front of our iconic Hollywood background! The visitors could afterward add some text and a recipient to then send the photo as a real postcard worldwide and for free.
On top of that, the MyPostcard team was lucky enough to talk to high-ranking visitors on our white couch – some travel bloggers came over to talk about their lives and give a little behind the scenes on it. You will soon find out more about it – just watch this blog and our Facebook and Instagram channel. Be prepared for good things to come!
26 halls filled with wanderlust
Of course, our MyPostcard team also had a look around the 26 halls and experienced exotic things. They tried Moroccan tea, unknown Iranian sweets and got some advice for Couchsurfing in Russia. The ITB is the perfect place for everyone who loves to travel and wants to get some inspiration for new destinations or real insider tips! Our favorite insider example was Belize, where you can visit massive Maya cities in the jungle, which are not overcrowded with tourists yet – that sounds absolutely amazing.
The MyPostcard team definitely got bitten by the travel bug after this event and is once again stunned by the diversity the world has to offer. Thank you ITB for the great days and hopefully see you next year!
