The Online Print Symposium in Munich is the leading international event for the online print sector. It’s a gathering of world-class experts in their field to discuss new trends and developments within the industry.

The sector of online and print requires constant change to keep pace with the times; it must always be on the lookout for new trends. Thanks to its willingness to change and develop new business models and strategies, the industry is continuing its strong growth. This is why the motto of this year’s symposium is “Leading the Competition – Growth Strategies in Online Print”. It took place on the 15th & 16th March at the Hilton Munich Airport, where about 250 attendants got the chance to network, discuss and exchange experience and thoughts.

Top experts spoke about their first hand experience during 14 different talks, live-interviews with the organising partners and panel discussions. Among others, the speakers were Jan Birkhan from Google Germany, Philip Rooke from Spreadshirt along with MyPostcard CEO & Founder Oliver Kray.

Oliver Kray’s talk concerned the topic, “App to Print”, and the symbiosis of digital and print within his product. With MyPostcard, he successfully combines the emotional value of a print product with he fast and easy availability available via smartphones and tablets. He illustrated how his app-to-print startup has attracted an unparalleled level of interest since its start through development of  a simple-to-use mobile design app, to partnering with print providers, to deciding to internationalize business operations. MyPostcard has ultimately become a prime example of the digital/print symbiosis.
