We from MyPostcard know that postcards have great potential as a means of communication. That’s why they are perfect for political engagement, donation projects, or other charitable purposes. This is also the reason why the startup from Berlin now supports the project of “Tony the Democrat”, who is trying to motivate potential voters in the USA.
Voting in America wasn’t always an option for some American citizens. For that reason, many hold this privilege to the highest regard and acknowledge the sacrifices made by those who fought for such a privilege, by exercising their right to vote proudly.
All stops are pulled out to support the election in America, but there is one project which became very much a talking point.
Postcards to Voters: Handwritten and creatively designed postcards are sent to potential voters to remind them to cast their votes.
What started small in March 2017, turned out to be a huge success. Many people are using their chance to stand up for democracy in America. Today, only one and a half years later, the project has gained more than 40.000 volunteers from every US state and almost 4 million postcards have been sent out – and there are even more to come.
We first read about Tony McMullin, also known as Tony the Democrat, via Twitter so we wanted to do our share by helping create a political message in a personal and creative way.

You can order these postcards in sets in our special design shop and we will send them to you in bulk and once they’ve arrived, you can decorate and write them.
